RUSSIA, Moscow. On December 14, in Moscow, a “Dissenters’ March” was held. Earlier, city authorities refused to agree on the route for the procession proposed by its organizers. During the action, more than 100 participants were detained, reported Ludmila Mamina, press-secretary of the oppositional coalition “The Other Russia”, to a correspondent of PRIMA-News.

According to one of the march participants, at Triumphalnaya Ploshad, where the procession should have begun, marchers were surrounded by police and OMON officers, and could not enter the area. The participant observed numerous cases of citizens being detained. Another participant in the action reported that six detainees were taken to the OVD.

The press service of “The Other Russia” notes that within the framework of the “Dissenters March”, at about 5:00pm, at the Borovitski Gates of the Kremlin, a National Bolshevik protest action was held with other oppositional coalition members.

The group consisted of 30 people holding the constitution in their hands and attempting to enter into the Kremlin. They were detained at the entrance. Participants shouted: “No to revisions!” 18 people were detained by the Federal Security Service. The rest were allowed to leave.
